Air Saw

Air saws deliver fast, clean cuts through metal, plastic, and composite materials. Lightweight and efficient, they’re great for tight spaces and detailed work.

Fast, clean cuts in tight spaces

Cutting sheet, tube and composite where the grinder does not fit

A pneumatic reciprocating saw cuts steel, aluminium, plastic and composite panels with a short back-and-forth blade stroke. Body shops, aerospace maintenance, HVAC and ship interiors use it because it cuts cold, throws no sparks and gets into cavities and tight radii.

The problem with a conventional air saw

A standard air saw is a piston hammering a blade holder, and the recoil goes into the grip and the guiding hand. Long cuts in thicker material add up against the EU exposure action value, and a shaking blade wanders off the line.

Why low vibration matters when cutting

A calm blade follows the scribe line, leaves a cleaner edge and needs less finishing. The operator can also hold the workpiece and the saw at the same time without the fatigue that makes cuts drift.

IPT's answer

The SRV-110 is a recoilless air saw declared at 3.2 m/s², below the EU exposure limit value, weighing 1.05 kg and using 1.1 l/s of air.
